New sports TV series?

With all the pandemic and coronavirus news circulating, the world of sports is rarely seen or talked about since so many sports seasons have been canceled for the time being. Even though fans are missing their sports, one new movie is gaining considerable attention.

Michael Jordan’s The Last Dance is all about the Chicago Bulls and their 1998 run to try to win their sixth championship.  Sports fans may know all about the six NBA Finals and how the Chicago Bulls were the team in the ’90s, but this is an in-depth documentary that explores the team’s background and how the Bulls became one of the most powerful and best franchises in NBA history.

What’s it about?

The first three episodes are about the top three players: Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman. These young athletes are upcoming and about to become some of the best basketball players in the history of the game. The rest of the series is all about how the Bulls earned all of their championships and how they faced many challenges along the way. All the while, viewers can see the players being coached by one of the greatest coaches of all time, Phil Jackson.

Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman had an amazing surrounding cast with Steve Kerr, Ron Harper, John Paxson, and Scott Burell. Episodes for this documentary air on ESPN or ESPN+ for 10 weeks, Sundays at 9 P.M. During this time of zero sports across the world, The Last Dance promises an insider’s view of one of the best (if not the best) NBA franchises in sports history.
