The Girls Cross Country runners are the Conference, District, and Regional Champions for the first time since 2013. Currently, this team is fourth in the state of Ohio.

According to Coach James Chappelle, “This group is a tight racing pack led by senior Katie Engle who is a two time all state runner in cross country. Also, Alannah Barton will be running her fourth cross country state championship.”

A total of nine runners are going to compete at the state level with seven varsity and two alternates. The Girls Cross Country runners are the two time Medina District Champions and the winners of the Gilmour Primeau Invitational.

The Girls Cross Country team gathers outside Our Lady Chapel right before the student body applauds them for being champions on their way to the State meet competition.
