Gilmour Defeats University School 2018

On Friday, January 19, Gilmour's Varsity A Hockey team defeated University School, 3-1. This victory dethrones US Hockey in the rival-driven "Battle of SOM." According to Gilmour students at the game, the Lancers "dominated" and held off the Preppers' shots on goal. For Gilmour, Charlie Valenti (`19), Evan Enrich (`19), and Dominic Casamatta (`19) all scored in the second period. The single goal for US came from former Gilmour student, Andre Berglund. In celebration, the Lancers teamed together to lead their fans in singing Gilmour's Alma Mater.
