Mat DiPuccio: A Debater Has Compassion


Mat DiPuccio’s (`18) main motivation in life is to “keep a good balance between enjoying [his] life and maintaining a solid future.” Dipuccio’s headstrong attitude shows that he will be a fierce competitor in any future path he chooses. He wants to study law.

When DiPuccio took the personality test, he was identified as a “Debater.” He has chosen a career path that he is passionate about. He hopes his personality and morals will guide him to be successful in the field of law. DiPuccio’s passion for “mental sparring” will always be a part of him. DiPuccio challenges himself to further develop a better understanding of the world.

Although the moniker of “Debater” may come across as confrontational, DiPuccio said he believes that he has true empathy for everyone. His main goal is to better the world through his brainstorming and actions. DiPuccio wants to be known for having great compassion for humankind.

Gracie Bujoll is from Chagrin Falls, near Cleveland, and is incredibly eager to report and share her perspective on occurrences at Gilmour Academy. She is fascinated with service and writing, and she enjoys hands-on learning experiences. Uniquely, Gracie does not want to work in an office, and aspires to apply her love of interactive experiences to her future; thus, delving into the field of reporting through journalism excites her.
