Junior Matt Mangel Receives Perfect ACT Score

Matt Mangel (`18) received a perfect score on the ACT. He took the test for the first time on February 11, 2017 in Solon, OH.

In preparation, he completed a single practice test and found that the reading section was the hardest and the math was the easiest for him. Mangel said he was expecting to do well, but didn’t quite anticipate a 36 on the exam.

Mangel shared that his primary strategy was to focus solely on the test and to not get distracted.

He recommends to those who will take the exam in the future to not rely on “tricks and tutors,” as was very successful with only using a practice test.
