Annie Zupon

Attending: High Point University

Major: Double Majoring in Strategic Communications and Business

Following the path of her siblings, Annie Zupon (`16) will be heading down south to attend High Point University. Zupon explained that she wanted to attend HPU since she was ten and her on campus visit sealed the deal.

Zupon said, “Seeing the campus through the eyes of a student made me love the school even more.” As she toured other campuses, she explained that it just didn’t feel right and it made her even surer that HPU was the place for her.

Determined to make her college years some of the best, she wants to get involved with on campus actives. Specifically, she plans to play club lacrosse and rush a sorority.

Zupon offers this tip for students entering the college process:

Don’t Stress. If you don’t know where you want to go, then go on college visits. As soon as you step on campus, you’ll know if that’s the place for you or not.”

On the brink of such a major life transition, Zupon salutes Gilmour. She remarked, “Saying goodbye to Gilmour will not be easy but I’m very lucky to have a place that makes saying goodbye so hard. I’m very excited for my future as a HPU Panther, but GA will always be home to me.”
